The new 100 Series is available in four models in Australia and New Zealand. All have engines exclusively designed for John Deere that operate with greater fuel economy and reduced sound levels, a new fuel tank to reduce emissions, and a redesigned hood and operator's area to improve visibility and operating comfort.
All models also come with The Edge™ Cutting System. This 3-in-1 mowing deck lets the operator choose between mulching, bagging and side-discharging, and a more precise mowing height can be controlled within a ¼-inch using the height of cut adjustment.
Attachments are easily installed on all 100 Series Tractors with the exclusive CargO Mount™ System, which enables owners to easily add or remove the appropriate attachment for mowing, ploughing, aerating and hauling.

THE EDGE CUTTING SYSTEM FROM JOHN DEERE
While only having a 17.5-hp. engine it will power you to a top speed of 8.2 kph. It has a 5 speed in-line shift pattern for easy transitions to different speeds to accommodate all jobs. This mower has a 12 gauge steel one piece frame for added strength and durability to last a lifetime. Up front there is a cast-iron front axle while the rear is equipped with a Dana 4360 trans-axle with enclosed differential to withstand anything you throw at it. The hood is made of a UV resistant JD Loy Polymer that will not rust and has 2 headlights for any nighttime operation. Tow Bar also

The mower has Reverse Implement Option (RIO) that enables you to continue cutting grass while going in reverse. Underneath there is a 42-in.EDGE CUTTING deck that you can add an optional mulch cover or plug onto. It has a ¼-in. spring assisted adjustable lever for selecting the height of the blades from 1-in - 4 in. For operator comfort the seat is adjustable to 10 different positions and has 5-1/2in. of travel and also has a cup holder and floor mats. All models also come with The Edge™ Cutting System.
